If you need sleeping for upwards of 10 people and want a lightweight option for a bunkhouse, you’ve found it! This 28’ Shadow Cruiser by Cruiser RV is one of the best-designed bunk campers available. From its spacious floorplan to its excellent build quality, this travel trailer is by far the best bang for your buck you can get. The exterior is gorgeous. White gel-coated fiberglass lines the outside with blue and black graphics. The Shadow Cruiser logo rests beautifully against the black backdrop of the fiberglass front cap. The exterior grants you an electric front leveling jack, an automatic awning, exterior all-weather speakers, and a fold-down solid step entry. There is even an outdoor kitchen that pulls out. Inside, you will be blown away by the comfortable layout. You will immediately notice how much natural light enters from the many windows surrounding you. The smokey color of the furniture harmonizes with the light stain color of the woodwork. The trim is accented with slightly darker wood the helps it blend beautifully. From the main entrance, you enter directly into the kitchen and living area. The couch is directly in front of the entrance, can easily seat 3-4 people across, and provides a comfortable relaxation space. The sofa can also be converted into a jack-knife folding bed for another bed. The couch sits perpendicular to your entertainment area. A large LED TV is mounted above the center console which contains your Bluetooth stereo. To the left of the couch is your booth dinette. Either bench will seat three adults abreast. Underneath you will see cubby space closed off by cabinet doors. If additional sleeping space is needed, the table will drop down to be used as the base for a bed large enough to sleep two adults. Your kitchen is set along the passenger side wall. A large 10 cu ft stainless-steel fridge sits at the end. Moving left, you will see your stove-top oven and mounted microwave in the center of the workspace. At the end is your sink which is set flush with the solid countertops. Above and below, you’ll see ample storage in the form of cabinets and drawers. Before you reach the rear bunk room, you will see the bathroom on your left. The bathroom is wonderfully spacious and provides all the necessities. A toilet is set just in front of your sink and vanity. Cubbies and cabinets are built in around the sink. Your big tub shower is off to the side. The rear bunk room is the highlight of this Shadow Cruiser though. Two single-over-single bunks line the left side with built-in cabinet storage beneath. On the right, you will see another folding bunk with a convertible booth beneath it. Designed for kids, the booth can seat two children on either seat and will convert into a fourth bed! There are cabinets and drawers along the back wall perfect for clothes storage. It even comes prewired for a second TV in the bunkroom! Moving back up to the very front, you will reach the master bedroom. Your queen master bed is set into the nose. Framed around it, you have even more closet and cabinet space. The bed will lift to show even more storage beneath it. On either side of the bedroom, you will see an additional two windows. The natural light makes this family camper a cozy and wonderful option.

I called parts counter and spoke with Karen on getting a display panel for my fridge because my button for the elect/gas option broke on the inside. Not only were the able to get my part the next morning Karen told me it sounds like my fridge needs to be reset by simply un pluging it. Presto! It works! Even without the button. Sea food won't be going to waste thanks to Karen! They go above and beyond!
We purchased our first RV from American Family and are completely satisfied with every person we came in contact with. Our sales person Liz met us listened to our desires and then took us to see a few that was just what we were looking for. She explained all the details and then did not pressure us (which to me is important) when we weren’t ready to buy (we decided to buy the next day). She helped us through the purchase process and then introduced to Treavor who spent two hours showing us every detail in our camper and made sure we could operate all the equipment. Ron was very thorough at our closing providing us all the options; I especially enjoyed him sharing his lessons learned with us. Last, when we needed the little odds and ends Karen in parts helped us out and made sure I got the best prices (in fact I spent less than I thought I would). What I am trying to say is that American Family stayed to true to their name (Family) working as a team and made our experience less stressful if not enjoyable. I recommend them to any RV purchasers.
